The Thursday Report

Thursday is without doubt Bobby's busiest day, and was almost busier! Three appearances in the morning, hundreds of autographs and discussion, and then somehow after that he has to race his way through the second Gatorade Duel. The Gatorade Duel is essentially like a qualifying race that determines where Bobby will start for the Daytona 500. We had kind of a rough race, nothing was really wrong but everyone just struggled to get the car handling the way it needed to be. Handling is everything at Daytona so you can drive behind any line of cars, but it just didn't work out. Luckily two more days of practice before the big day. AND THEN, after all that, Bobby still had one more appearance!
